We’re beyond thrilled to share Samita’s inspiring leap into Supported Independent Living (SIL) – a milestone that marks not just a change in address, but a transformation in her everyday life.

From the moment she stepped into her new SIL home, Samita embraced the change with a spark of enthusiasm that lit up every room. There were nerves, of course. That’s only natural. But with the warm guidance of CIW’s dedicated support team, those nerves soon turned into excitement.
Today, Samita is not just a resident — she’s a vital part of a community.
She’s made genuine connections with her housemates, joined in on shared meals and activities, and started building friendships that bring laughter into her daily routine. Whether it’s helping with dinner prep, organising the common spaces, or simply being there for others — she does it with joy, pride, and purpose.
